About the job
Project Manager Development Medical Technology & Industry (Embedded Systems), 80 – 100 % (m/f/d)
With us, you will lead development projects for medical devices and industry from the initial idea to the finished product – technically demanding, regulatory compliant and always as a team. If you enjoy confidently managing embedded projects and bringing people together, we should get to know each other.
As a project manager for medical devices and embedded systems, you take responsibility for selected projects in medical technology and industry. You are the central contact person – internally for the interdisciplinary team, externally for customers, suppliers and partners.
You bring your projects to completion on time, within budget and quality standards, confidently lead project meetings and keep all parties transparently informed – even when extraordinary events occur. Effort estimations, participation in offers, change and contract amendment management with the customer as well as active management of project risks are also part of your responsibilities. For medical projects, you ensure together with QM/RA or external bodies that the technical documentation is complete and traceable throughout the entire development cycle.
You have a degree in a scientific-technical field, complemented by further training in project management – ideally with certification according to IPMA Level C or a comparable qualification.
You have several years of proven experience in project management, preferably in the electronics industry or system development. Project experience in the regulated medical technology environment according to ISO 13485 and ISO 14971 as well as under MDR is required. Knowledge of IEC 62304, IEC 60601, US market approval (FDA) and – for our industrial projects – cybersecurity (CRA) is advantageous. You are fluent in German at a negotiation level and fluent in English, both spoken and written.
As a personality, you think and act entrepreneurially, keep technical as well as economic aspects in view and quickly grasp complex contexts. Your high social competence, communication skills and talent to motivate and lead teams complete your profile.
We are Grossenbacher – an established, owner-managed Swiss company with an international market position and a family-like, personal approach. With us, short decision-making paths, genuine personal responsibility and a team that sticks together count.
We offer you an innovative working environment with flexible working hours, five weeks’ holiday and – depending on operational possibilities – up to two days of home office per week. In addition, there is direct public transport and motorway access, subsidies for the gym subscription in the company building as well as targeted support for your professional and methodological development.
If you enjoy taking responsibility and leading projects with technical depth and economic success to completion, we look forward to getting to know you.
