Head of Strategy and Business Development - Central Switzerland

With around 3,000 employees and 35 subsidiaries, the group operates throughout Switzerland – family-owned and with a long entrepreneurial tradition.

In this key position, you report directly to the Chairman of the Board and actively drive the further development of our companies. A particular focus of your work is on our companies in the travel sector, whose market position you will strengthen together with the respective management personnel. At the same time, you gain insight into various other companies within the group and also take on projects there.

• You play a significant role in the strategy process, especially in the travel business, but also at the group level
• You analyse business processes and identify concrete improvement potentials
• You independently take on projects and accompany them from planning to successful implementation
• You support the development of new ideas, offers and business areas
• You contribute to the evaluation and implementation of company acquisitions
• You assist the Chairman of the Board with organisational and substantive tasks related to the management of the group

You are an ambitious and eager-to-learn doer with enthusiasm for the travel business and aim to take on a leadership role within the group in the medium term.

• You bring 2 to 5 years of experience in project implementation or in a relevant leadership role, for example from management consulting, internal strategy, M&A, or a startup
• You hold a university degree (university, ETH or FH) in economics, engineering or natural sciences, an MBA or a comparable qualification and can demonstrate successes or special commitment
• You have strong analytical skills, think in a structured way and develop creative solutions
• Experience or a strong interest in the travel and tourism industry is an advantage
• You speak German very well and have good English skills
