Start of employment: as soon as possible
An internship position is now available in the Department of Digitalization Psychology at the University of Bern, supervised by Nele Borgert. The scope of the internship is up to 300 hours, flexible in part-time, as agreed. During the internship, you will work on the research project "Cybersecurity in Smart Home Environments".
The Project
In the lab study, participants will embark on a discovery tour using an augmented reality app on the topics of data protection and IT security in the smart home. The goal is to explore how people perceive and understand these topics in interactive, immersive environments.
Tasks
The internship offers exciting insights into the planning, execution, and evaluation of a lab study. Your tasks include:
• Independently guiding participants and conducting the study
• Assisting with recruitment and scheduling
• Contributing to data preparation and analysis
• Creating literature reviews
• If desired: assisting in the preparation of teaching assignments
Requirements
• Studying psychology (credit for the master's program is possible from the 3rd year of the bachelor's program)
• Independent working style and reliability
• Interest in topics such as lab research, interventions, smart homes, IT security, or augmented reality
• Enjoyment in working with participants and in a research team
