About the job
You have chosen special needs education because you want to actively shape learning and development? You are looking for a challenging role with scope for creativity, purpose, and room for new ideas? Then you are in the right place with us.
The Bühl Foundation is an excellent employer with innovative offerings. This includes the Therapeutic Residential School Group (TWSG) – a specialised support service for young people with cognitive impairments and psychological disorders.
For the opening of a second TWSG for young people, we are seeking from 1 August 2027
Special Needs Educators 80%
In the TWSG, you will find a varied educational field. You design lessons individually and resource-oriented, create learning and development opportunities, and support young people even when the paths are not always straightforward.
You will benefit from generous scope for action, clear structures, and an innovative environment. Together with a committed interdisciplinary team from special needs education, social pedagogy, psychiatry, and psychology, you develop suitable solutions and create a reliable framework for learning and development.
We are looking for people with expertise, personality, and drive who see challenges as opportunities and enjoy contributing their own ideas and trying new approaches. You have a positive attitude, reflective ability, resilience, flexibility, and a sense of humour. You approach young people with appreciation and clarity, work solution-oriented, and value collaboration in the interdisciplinary team. A recognised teaching diploma by the Swiss Conference of Cantonal Ministers of Education (EDK), ideally complemented by a special needs education qualification, is also required. Above all, you bring joy and commitment to accompany young people with special needs on their educational and developmental journey.
Do you want to design lessons, build relationships, and enable development – even where the paths sometimes take turns?
Then bring your expertise, personality, and ideas to us. Become part of a team that rethinks school, takes responsibility together, and opens up real development opportunities for young people.
