As a Senior Print Engineer / Application Manager Output Management in transactional printing, you take on a key role in a highly automated production environment. For our team in the highly secured transactional printing Print Centre in Zurich, we are looking for reinforcement for onboarding new customers as well as operating current clients. Due to high demand, we are seeking a new team member who can immediately provide support with their experience.

Your Responsibilities

Implementation of new customers for transactional printing services
Responsibility for the operation and optimisation of our print control system (POSY Production Management and Output Factory)
Ensuring efficient, stable and timely production in high-volume printing
Analysis and resolution of disruptions along the entire production chain
Management and optimisation of print workflows
Collaboration with IT, specialist departments and external partners for continuous process improvement
Planning, implementation and integration of new technologies and solutions in the print environment
Documentation of processes, systems and changes

Your Profile

Completed training or degree in computer science, print technology or comparable field
Several years of experience in transactional printing or production printing environment
Sound knowledge of print data formats (e.g. AFP, PDF) as well as output management system (POSY) and print spooler software
Experience with high-performance printers and envelope inserting systems is an advantage
Know-how in workflow automation and process optimisation
Analytical, structured and solution-oriented working style
High personal responsibility as well as team and communication skills
Very good German skills and good English skills
Excellent reputation (criminal record)
