The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,000 collaborators. The Rennaz Hospital Centre has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. To complete our team within the Gynaecology and Obstetrics department, at the Rennaz site, we are looking for a:
Medical Assistant M/F at 80%
The main duties of this position are
- Scheduling appointments in the electronic calendar
- Ensuring routine administrative follow-up: opening, sorting and distributing mail, handling emails, answering the phone
- Ensuring proper administrative management of medical records and billing follow-up
- Assistance during consultations: preparing the consultation and performing technical procedures
- Contributing to teamwork, acting collegially with other medical assistants in the department
- Ensuring communication with external practices
- Setting up and tidying the consultation room
We require
- A Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (CFC) as medical assistant, DFMS or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Proven experience in a hospital or medical practice
- Fluent command of the French language, both spoken and written, as well as excellent IT skills
- A sense of responsibility, organisation and planning
- A motivated, rigorous, dynamic person with excellent communication skills
- Adherence to and respect for institutional directives and procedures
