The Head of Portfolio Management ensures that the company's portfolio projects and internal initiatives are strategically aligned, financially sound, and operationally feasible. He is responsible for defining, managing, and optimizing Skyguide's strategic portfolio of projects, programs, and initiatives to ensure alignment with corporate strategy, objectives, regulatory requirements, and long-term value creation. This position reports into the Chief Development Officer (CDO) member of the Executive Board.
- Define and implement portfolio governance frameworks, chair review boards, and ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards. Act as a central point of governance for portfolio decisions, supporting the CDO and Executive Management in making informed decisions
- Translate strategy into a multi-year executable roadmap, manage interdependencies, and plan execution, balancing resources and financial constraints
- Define and drive a structured company-wide an investment prioritization process (programs, projects, and initiatives) to maximize value delivery while balancing risk, cost, and resource availability
- Establish KPIs, monitor benefits realization, and report to executive stakeholders
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and promote a portfolio mindset across the organization
- Define, own and ensure portfolio management process forSkyguide. Ensure alignment with other key corporate processes
- Lead and develop a team of 3-5 portfolio experts to meet evolving business needs
- Master's degree in business administration, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in portfolio, program, or product management—preferably within aviation, ANSP, or software-driven organizations
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, multi-stakeholder portfolios with high strategic impact
- Broad methodological expertise, deep knowledge in both waterfall project management and scaled agile approaches, solid understanding of strategic planning, corporate development, and change management
- Motivation: You are driven by purpose, taking initiative to move things forward
- Leading business: You actively shape the future by creating customer value, contributing to sustainable success, while courageously anticipating needs and taking ownership of risks
- Proficient in English written and orally, good command in French and /or German, a plus
