About the job
The Department of Ageing and Care of the City of Winterthur trains around 120 apprentices in 7 different professions annually. Our training programmes are practical, varied and open up many career opportunities for you. With us, you work in a lively, meaningful environment.In the three-year basic vocational training as a Specialist in Care, you are responsible for the care and support as well as the daily activities of the residents.
Your Tasks
- Supporting, encouraging and accompanying the residents in their daily activities
and basic care - Organising and conducting various activities such as playing, walking, cooking, baking
- Taking on domestic tasks such as preparing simple meals or managing laundry
- Carrying out administrative and logistical tasks
Your Profile
- Secondary school A or B with good/very good grades
- Outgoing personality, communication and teamwork skills
- High sense of responsibility
- Physical and mental health and resilience
- Willingness to work irregular hours
