About the job
Thayngen is a municipality with a rural character. It was certified in 2017 with the UNICEF label "Child-Friendly Municipality." The managed school Thayngen is a progressive and lively school where integrative teaching takes place. At several locations, around 700 motivated children and young people learn together with highly committed and experienced teachers. The school Thayngen operates according to the concept "Workplace School," which places great importance on promoting cross-disciplinary skills. During the self-study time integrated into the lessons, pupils have the opportunity to work on the learning content of various subjects according to their personal learning level or to improve their basic skills in reading, writing, arithmetic, and foreign languages.
For the new school year 2026/27, we are looking for a school special education teacher for the Silberberg school building from mid-September 2026 until approximately mid-April 2027 as maternity cover with a workload between approx. 80-100%.
As an SHP, you support and accompany pupils with special educational needs in the integrative setting and work closely with the class teachers as well as other specialists. In doing so, you contribute your professional expertise to support, advice, and teamwork.
