The AGV

The Aargau Building Insurance, founded in 1805, is a centre of expertise for prevention, intervention and insurance. It is the oldest institution of its kind in Switzerland. It not only acts as an insurer – it also helps to prevent and reduce damage. Its services protect the population, assets and the environment.

The AGV insures buildings in the canton against fire, natural hazards and water damage. On the contract side, customer service and competent administrative support and handling of all concerns have the highest priority. For this, we are looking for you:

Your tasks

• You are responsible for the organisation and management of the Contract Department, align it strategically and implement the operating model and the associated processes. You further develop the latter and utilise automation and digitalisation potentials.
• You lead the employees of building assessment and contract & sales customer service professionally and personally via the respective team leaders, in compliance with the legal framework, corporate strategy and by anchoring corporate values. Customer satisfaction is a central issue.
• You are responsible for the customer- and service-oriented management of the insurance portfolio, ensuring the timely determination of correct insurance sums, the preparation of the annual accounts and the insurance-technical implementation of natural hazard prevention.
• You lead the sales and customer care concept, further develop it and carry out marketing campaigns for voluntary supplementary insurances. You use customer feedback to continuously optimise processes, workflows and systems.
• You develop leadership process key figures and provide them monthly.

Your profile

Your profile

• You are a qualified insurance economist HF or have completed an equivalent education and bring solid professional experience in the insurance sector. With your leadership skills, strategic thinking and enthusiasm for process work, you contribute significantly to successfully leading our organisation into the future.
• You have successfully led teams and/or organisations for several years and can demonstrate solid knowledge in leading and developing employees.
• You bring strategic foresight and understand how to build and continuously develop structures, processes and teams with a future-oriented approach.
• You see the design and optimisation of processes not only as a challenge but as a central task to sustainably increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation.
• You have the ability to oversee complex issues, analyse challenges in a structured way and develop sustainable, pragmatic solutions.
• You are characterised by your clear and target-group-appropriate communication. You can convince, motivate and inspire different stakeholders for common goals.
• You act as an authentic and inspiring leader who provides orientation through actions and values and promotes a positive working atmosphere.
