What you can achieve with us

You accompany and support, in collaboration with our specialist and the teachers in Lützelflüh, a young person with blindness in everyday school life. This enables the integration of the pupil in cycle 3 and relieves the teachers. Specifically, you accompany and support in sports, arts and crafts, and at school events. 

You enjoy and have experience in dealing with pupils and have an interest in educational and blindness-specific topics. You are empathetic, responsive to others and can express yourself very well in German. You have manual skills, are accustomed to working with different people and remain calm even in hectic situations. A strong sense of responsibility and the willingness to further educate yourself in blindness-specific matters complete your profile. 

We are the Foundation for Blind and Visually Impaired Children and Young People Zollikofen - a private, politically and denominationally neutral organisation with a non-profit objective. Our task is to support and accompany people with special needs from birth to young adulthood.
We offer additional services to parents, teachers of public schools and special schools as well as to professionals. Our core competencies lie in the support and accompaniment of young people with visual impairment, blindness, multiple disabilities or from the autism spectrum.
