Department Head Professional Development, Quality & Education (80–100 %)
We are in an exciting phase of development. To further develop our organisation, we are creating the new role of Department Head Professional Development, Quality & Education. In this key role, you will actively shape the professional future of Spitex Region Aarau and help ensure that our care remains innovative, effective and of high quality tomorrow. As a member of the management team, you will participate in the organisation’s strategic decisions.
Your Role
You are responsible for the professional, qualitative and conceptual development of Spitex Region Aarau. In doing so, you
- develop our nursing, services and care concepts based on evidence and with a future-oriented approach
- are responsible for quality management as well as the further development of standards, concepts and guidelines
- initiate and lead organisation-wide development and change projects
- promote innovations and support the introduction of new care models
- ensure knowledge transfer as well as the strategic orientation of initial, further and continuing education
- support and advise managers and teams on complex professional issues
- lead specialist groups and professional officers both professionally and partly in personnel matters
- represent Spitex Region Aarau in professional committees and maintain important networks in the healthcare sector
- as a member of the management team, share responsibility for the strategic development of the organisation
Your Profile
You combine high nursing expertise with strategic thinking and enthusiasm for organisational development. You have
- a completed education as a nursing professional FH or HF
- a university-level further education in nursing science, professional development, advanced practice nursing or a comparable field
- several years of experience in professional development as well as in leading projects and change processes
- solid experience in outpatient healthcare, ideally in Spitex
- in-depth knowledge of quality management and evidence-based nursing development
- leadership experience and a modern understanding of leadership in the sense of servant leadership
- high communication, consulting and networking skills
- enjoyment in further developing people, teams and organisations
Experience in vocational education is an advantage.
