Nursing Service Internship
Profile
The Nursing Service of the Regional Hospital of Bellinzona and Valleys offers the possibility to carry out different types of internships for those who wish to undertake basic training as a nurse:
a) trainee: orientation internship to assess a possible enrollment in one of the training programs to obtain the nursing diploma
b) pre-Supsi intern: internship required by Supsi for students who wish to undertake a bachelor's degree in nursing
c) SSSCI intern: internship required by SSSCI (Higher Specialized School in Nursing) for students who wish to undertake the training of
SSS nurse
d) medical student: internship required by some Swiss medical faculties to be carried out either before the start of studies or by the end of the 1st year of university training
The availability of internship positions depends on service needs.
Necessary requirements
- intention to undertake professional training in the nursing field
- minimum age of 16 years completed
b) pre-Supsi intern:
- enrollment at SUPSI
c) SSSCI intern:
- enrollment at SSSCI
d) medical student:
- enrollment at the medical faculty of a Swiss university
