Community Health and Care Assistant at SUPAA - West
We are looking for a Community Health and Care Assistant (ASSC) at 80% - 100% at Prangins Hospital in the advanced age psychiatry hospital unit (SUPAA – West), on a fixed-term contract from 1 December 2026 to 31 May 2027.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
SUPAA is a specialised service tasked with ensuring care, teaching, and research in the field of psychiatry for the elderly. This mandate is entrusted to it by the Department of Health and Social Action.
SUPAA - West includes a hospital unit as well as a mobile team.
Mission
- You responsibly and autonomously support patients and compensate for the incapacities of dependent persons in carrying out daily life activities for which you are responsible
- You ensure the execution and monitoring of activities delegated to you by qualified staff
- You provide, under delegation, medical-technical acts in stable situations that are not urgent
- You perform administrative and logistical tasks related to your activity, mainly concerning the patients you care for
- You work as part of a team and respect the institution's rules.
Profile
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma as a Community Health and Care Assistant
- You are a dynamic, committed, motivated person with a sense of responsibility and good interpersonal skills
- You can demonstrate experience with elderly people and/or in psychiatry
- You have good IT skills
- You have an excellent command of the French language, both spoken and written (level B2).
