Concrete Worker EFZ

What to expect

During your training, you will get to know the diverse world of concrete work:

• You will manufacture concrete elements for building construction, civil engineering, and infrastructure.
• You will assist in creating and preparing formwork.
• You will process concrete and learn various surface treatment techniques.
• You will work with modern machines, tools, and production facilities.
• You will check the quality of the finished products and ensure careful execution.
• You will gain insight into the production process – from planning to the finished concrete element.

• Enjoyment of practical work and manual dexterity.
• Interest in the material concrete and technical contexts.
• You can visualise components and constructions spatially well and have an interest in plans, measurements, and calculations.
• Reliability, motivation, and willingness to learn.
