About the job

Flying Teachers is looking for committed students and prospective teachers to provide tutoring in mathematics and various other school subjects in Zurich and online.

We want to expand our tutoring team and offer flexible teaching assignments for motivated individuals who enjoy sharing their expertise and supporting pupils individually.

Course start: By arrangement

Course location: Zurich (on-site or online)

Course times: Flexible by arrangement, mainly afternoons or evenings

Subjects: Mathematics and other school subjects

Number of lessons: Usually 5–10 lessons of 60 minutes each, with the possibility of extension

Teaching format: One-to-one tuition / individual tutoring

Requirements for the tutor

Ongoing studies in mathematics, natural sciences, languages, education or another relevant field

Solid knowledge in at least one school subject

Enjoyment in working with children and young people

Ability to convey learning content clearly, patiently and age-appropriately

Independent, reliable and structured working style

Good communication skills and a motivating teaching approach

Initial experience in tutoring or teaching is an advantage

Willingness to teach on-site in Zurich and/or online

Students without extensive teaching experience are also warmly welcome!
