About the job
The Emma Couvreu Childhood Foundation, since 1829, is actively committed to the reception, protection, and support of minors at risk in their development. Our services are aimed at children and also at their parents. We implement our actions in accordance with values that we embody daily. Our activities are fully aligned with the minor protection policy established by the State of Vaud. Strong in its commitment, the Foundation manages 5 boarding schools and 6 outpatient units, mobilizing more than 250 collaborators. To strengthen its educational team, the Blonay Children's Home is looking for several:Auxiliary social educators for replacement and reinforcement positions, boarding school hours (including weekends, school holidays) Job description
- Accompany daily and support children benefiting from minor protection measures aged 1 to 12 years
- Animate and contain a group of children, some of whom have behavioral disorders
- Manage daily and administrative tasks
- Hold one of the following diplomas, or an equivalent title:
Social educator HES or ES Early childhood educator CFC socio-educational assistant
- Ideally, have experience and continuing education in the field of childhood
- Proven ability to manage, animate, and contain groups of children with behavioral disorders
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
- Driving license required
