As a Product Manager, you take responsibility for the product portfolio Hydraulics Components & Electrical Engineering. Together with sales, purchasing, marketing and engineering, you develop the range throughout the entire product lifecycle and ensure that our products are successfully positioned in the market. In doing so, you act as an entrepreneur within the company and actively contribute to the sustainable growth of Paul Forrer AG.

WHAT AWAITS YOU

• Responsibility for the product portfolio Hydraulics Components & Electrical Engineering
• Analysis of market, customer and competitor developments as well as continuous further development of the range
• Evaluation and development of international suppliers as well as participation in price and terms negotiations
• Planning and implementation of product launches and product discontinuations
• Assortment and pricing design
• Planning and implementation of marketing activities in cooperation with marketing and sales
• Technical support for sales and engineering as a 2nd-level competence centre
• Organisation and conduct of internal product training
• Leadership or participation in cross-product group projects

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed technical basic training, preferably with experience in mobile hydraulics or a comparable technical environment
• Further training in product management, marketing or business administration
• Several years of professional experience in technical product management, technical sales or a comparable function
• Entrepreneurial thinking and enjoyment in actively developing a product portfolio
• Strong market, customer and service orientation
• Analytical, structured and independent working style
• Strong communication skills and negotiation ability
• Confident handling of ERP, PIM and MS Office applications
• Fluent communication in German as well as good English skills
