To strengthen our team for search and investigation of the criminal police, we are looking for you as
Investigator Sexual Offences and Virtual Combatting of Child Sexual Abuse 60–80 %
immediately or by arrangement with workplace in Glarus.
Tasks
- Conducting police preliminary investigations as well as investigative procedures in the area of sexual offences and child sexual abuse
- Carrying out covert measures in this offence area, occasionally also in other offence fields
- Supporting the search and investigation service as well as the youth contact police in criminal police tasks, especially in the areas of search, surveillance, drug offences, offences against life and limb, property offences and juvenile delinquency
- Participation in the conception and further development of the specialist area
- Close cooperation with prosecution authorities and other official bodies
- Taking on criminal police on-call duties
Requirements
- Federal specialist certificate police officer, SPI certificate or equivalent training
- Several years of professional experience as a police officer, preferably in the area of criminal police
- Ideally experience in handling sexual offences and/or child sexual abuse as well as with covert measures
- Strong social skills as well as a confident, professional and correct appearance
- Impeccable reputation, high integrity and absolute confidentiality
- Independent, initiative and careful working style
- Networked thinking and acting
- Willingness to work evening, weekend and on-call duties (no residence requirement in the canton of Glarus; availability within the on-call radius required)
