About the job
Your Tasks
- Instrument handling with the most modern surgical techniques and devices during operations in the specialist areas of visceral and vascular surgery, traumatology, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, ENT, maxillofacial and plastic surgery
- Preparation and post-processing of surgical instruments and materials
- Ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards
- Participation in the optimisation of surgical processes as well as taking on specialist responsibility
- Willingness to work night and weekend shifts
- Independently decides on all professional matters according to the training level of the learners and students
- Active participation in instruction days and working groups
- Informs the department management regarding nursing and technical nursing deficiencies
- Assists in the development, implementation and evaluation of adapted internal guidelines with the nursing expert management regarding vocational training in the operating theatre
- Collaborates in the planning, execution and evaluation of ward-relevant projects concerning vocational training in the operating theatre
- Contributes own ideas to improve processes regarding vocational training in the operating theatre
Your Profile
- Completed training as a specialist in surgical technology HF or equivalent professional training
- Professional experience in the above-mentioned specialist areas is an advantage
- Resilient, service-oriented, team player and technically skilled
- Very good IT skills and confident German language skills in spoken and written form
- Experience as a daily contact person for learners in nursing
- At least two years of professional experience in the nursing profession
- Further training SVEB 1 and vocational trainer course (or willingness to complete)
