Team Leader: Paediatric Emergency Care

Welcome to the Emergency Centre for Children and Adolescents - we look forward to seeing you! We are available around the clock for children and adolescents under 16 years of age and their families. Our interprofessional team treats patients from the entire medical and surgical spectrum of paediatric emergency medicine. We are guided by three values: respect, responsibility and excellence. For our leadership team, we are looking for a team leader who embodies these values and, together with us, shapes and further develops emergency care.

What to expect

• Together with two other team leaders, you will take on the personnel and organisational management of the paediatric emergency centre and ensure high-quality, patient-centred care.
• You will further develop the quality of care within the shared governance team, together with the other team leaders, the nursing expert and the vocational training managers.
• You will work closely with all involved professional groups.
• You will stay close to the action and partly work directly in the care of children and adolescents.

What you bring

• Nursing diploma at tertiary level (Bachelor of Science in Nursing FH, certified nurse HF, DN II or KWS)
• Completed postgraduate studies as an expert in emergency nursing NDS HF is an advantage
• Professional experience in paediatrics, initial leadership experience desirable
• High social competence, strong communication skills and enjoyment in working with different professional groups
• Commitment, sense of responsibility and decisiveness
• Strong organisational skills as well as a structured, solution-oriented way of working
• Willingness to develop professionally and personally as a leader
