As Head Institutional Sales, you play a central role in the strategic expansion of our institutional client business: You build long-term relationships with investors, identify new market potentials, and thus contribute decisively to sustainable growth. We analyze portfolios, compare climate and sustainability data, and integrate performance and megatrend data into a holistic overview. This creates a unique basis for private and institutional investors to optimize their investment strategies with a future-oriented approach. Your tasks
- Customer acquisition
You identify and reach institutional clients and present our product vision and application based on a solid understanding of the entire investment value chain of the clients.
- Comprehensive responsibility for sales-related tasks
Working in a start-up means acting agilely and taking on a wide range of tasks. You are a central contact person for our clients and accompany them throughout the entire process, from pre-sales through negotiation and contract conclusion to onboarding and after-sales support.
- Tactical and strategic projects
You drive internal projects that are central to our business development, from preparing market launch activities to evaluating customer feedback to designing onboarding processes and ongoing lifecycle management.
- Product development
As the first point of contact for prospects and clients, you understand their requirements in the area of sustainable investments as well as the visualization and analysis of portfolios. You translate these insights into concrete requirements for new features and improvements of our applications, a key success factor of your role. In doing so, you work closely and continuously with our product management and development team.
Your profile
- Experience
3–5 years of experience in B2B customer acquisition and support, ideally with foundations, pension funds, banks, or asset managers
- Qualification
University degree or comparable higher education in business administration, finance, or technology; experience or additional qualifications in sustainability/ESG are an advantage
- Communication skills
Good communication skills for collaboration with internal and external partners
- Industry knowledge
Experience in finance or fintech sales
- Language skills
Fluent in German and English
- Personality
Hands-on mentality, ownership mindset, and a strong sense for pragmatic solutions
