• Leadership and Supervision
  You take on the role of medical shift leader of the emergency operations and supervise the assistant physicians in patient care.
• Promotion of Professional Qualifications
  You support the assistant physicians in obtaining the competency certificate for clinical emergency medicine and in further developing their ultrasound skills.
• Interdisciplinary Exchange
  You maintain close communication with the referrers and the various specialist departments of the Cantonal Hospital Aarau (KSA).
• Training and Internal Clinical Processes
  You actively participate in the training of doctors and engage in internal clinical processes.
• Shift Work
  You participate in the shift system and ensure the presence of senior physicians around the clock (24/7).

• You hold one of the following specialist titles: General Internal Medicine, Intensive Care Medicine, Cardiology, Anaesthesiology, Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology (foreign diploma with MEBEKO recognition).
• Willingness to work interdisciplinarily.
• High resilience.
• Completed competency certificate "Clinical Emergency Medicine SGNOR" or close to completion.
• Good ultrasound skills are an advantage.
• You are a team player, flexible and committed.
• Excellent German language skills, both spoken and written.
