Our client, an internationally active company with a strong presence in the raw materials and timber industry, is looking to strengthen its finance team with a committed individual. To support the finance department, a motivated individual is sought as Accountant 80–100%. In this role, you will take on diverse tasks in financial accounting and actively participate in exciting finance and optimisation projects. Your tasks with the new employer:

• Independent management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting, a responsible role with a high degree of autonomy and diverse insights into financial processes
• Responsibility for all payment transactions as well as the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP, an exciting opportunity to actively contribute to the company’s financial stability
• Preparation of accruals, provisions, and VAT returns as well as participation in budget and forecast processes, a position requiring analytical thinking and accuracy
• Collaboration with HR, controlling, and auditing as well as support in internal control system and audit processes, a varied interface function with development potential and influence on efficient workflows

You offer your new employer:

• A solid education in finance and accounting with a completed or ongoing professional certificate, complemented by at least 3–5 years of professional experience
• Experience in actively assisting with financial statements and audits as well as in-depth knowledge of SAP is an advantage
• You communicate confidently in German and have good English skills; knowledge of French is an additional plus
