Polymechanic – Maintenance in Shift Work
Tasks
- You are responsible for the maintenance and overhaul of our production machines as well as the buildings and infrastructures.
- You independently manufacture spare parts and assemblies.
- You carry out systematic fault searches and resolve technical problems on production machines.
- You optimise wear parts and machines to continuously improve their reliability and performance.
- You implement technical improvements on machines and systems.
- You monitor and operate our process control systems.
- You accompany and supervise our trainee production and polymechanics EFZ as a vocational trainer.
Requirements
- Completed training as a polymechanic, production mechanic or a comparable technical education.
- Good practical knowledge in the manufacturing techniques of drilling, turning and CNC milling.
- Professional experience in maintenance and operational upkeep is an advantage.
- High degree of independence and self-motivation as well as a structured and solution-oriented working method.
- Strong interconnected thinking and technical understanding.
- Good German skills in spoken and written form; technical English understanding is an advantage.
- Willingness to work limited shift work as well as on-call duties.
- Good user knowledge of common IT programmes.
- Completed vocational trainer course.
