Professor for Organisational Communication (80 - 100 %)
University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW, Institute for Competitiveness and Communication
Your tasks:
You are active within the extended service mandate of the University of Applied Sciences. This includes teaching in initial and continuing education, application-oriented research and consulting for companies. In doing so, you take on the following activities:
- Strengthening the focus area of organisational communication in all service areas of the FHNW
- Acquisition and implementation of research and consulting projects; scientific publication activities
- Design, further development and management of continuing education programmes
- Teaching at Bachelor and Master level as well as in continuing education
Due to the summer break, we will begin interviews from mid-August 2026.
Your profile:
You are a creative, flexible, open, team-oriented and communicative personality with several years of experience in organisational communication/corporate communication. In addition, you have a university degree in business, communication or social sciences – at least Master’s level, a doctorate is desired (PhD or Dr.). Your profile is complemented by the following points:
- Several years of practical experience outside the university sector in organisational/corporate communication (leadership role)
- Practical skills in digital and audiovisual communication
- Proven track record in acquiring applied research and consulting projects including corresponding publication evidence
- Confident appearance in dealing with executives from business, administration and politics
