Arxada in Visp offers as of 01.08.2025 an exciting apprenticeship as a Draftsman EFZ.
 

Draftsmen develop and design individual parts and assemblies for devices, machines, or systems as well as tools and fixtures for production in collaboration with other professionals. They process orders, specifications, or subprojects. They create manufacturing, assembly, and test documents and develop the necessary production data. For the operation and maintenance of the products, they prepare corresponding instructions and documentation.
 

The training to become a draftsman is an interesting, versatile, and demanding profession with a future. After successful completion of the apprenticeship, there are very good opportunities for further education and career advancement.

The training lasts four years. Draftsmen complete their practical training in the training company, supplemented by inter-company courses. Vocational school is attended two days a week in the first and second years and one day a week in the third and fourth years.
