Job Description
Full-time position including teaching activities in the field of school entry, delivered within the framework of the Bachelor of Science in Educational Sciences and the Complementary Certificate in Primary Education.
The holder will be responsible for supervising internships with responsibility, observation and integration seminars, supervising dissertations, independent projects and final papers. According to the needs identified by the programme committee, they will also be involved in compact or extended units and in continuing education. They will be associated with the Innovation-Training-Education Laboratory and will conduct research in the field of the position. They will collaborate with the management bodies of the Section, the Faculty and the IUFE, particularly concerning teacher training.
Required Title and Skills
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: Master’s degree in Educational Sciences or an equivalent qualification. Teaching diploma preferred.
DESIRED PROFILE: Candidates will have confirmed professional skills in the field of the position. They will generally hold a teaching diploma and have experience of teaching in a school context as well as knowledge of the Geneva school system. Experience of university teaching and research skills in the field of school entry are generally expected.
