Job Description
The Site Supervisor Installation is the technical representative on site for the installation, integration and commissioning phase of 10 CAT 3516EHD 3250 kVA generator sets. They ensure the technical coordination of installation activities, manage interfaces between companies, oversee quality, safety and scheduling, as well as prepare tests and commissioning.
Your main responsibilities:
- Supervise the installation and positioning works of the generator sets.
- Coordinate the activities of various subcontractors on site.
- Supervise mechanical installations: exhaust, SCR, DOC, ASC, insulation, auxiliary equipment.
- Supervise Fuel, Urea and electrical installations.
- Manage interfaces between different trades and civil engineering.
- Check the conformity of installations with plans, P&ID and technical documents.
- Ensure daily monitoring of the schedule and critical activities.
- Ensure compliance with HSE rules, RAMS, work permits and lifting procedures.
- Participate in quality inspections, follow-up of punch lists and resolution of non-conformities.
- Prepare installations for commissioning and support commissioning teams.
Qualifications
- Education: BTS/DUT/Bachelor/Engineer degree ideally in electrical engineering, electromechanics or energy
- Minimum 10 years in industrial site supervision
- Experience in installation of generator sets, mechanical and/or electrical equipment.
- Experience in data centres highly appreciated.
- Good ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and manage site interfaces.
- Proficient in reading plans, diagrams and P&ID.
- Strong sensitivity to HSE and quality requirements.
- Professional French and English essential.
- Autonomy, field leadership and ability to work in a multi-stakeholder environment
