What you can achieve
- Responsibility for planning, execution and documentation of tests
- Review of requirements as well as creation, maintenance and further development of test cases, test protocols and test evidence
- Creation and maintenance of test scripting
- Execution of API and database testing as well as ensuring quality along modern development processes
- Participation in the integration of tests into CI/CD and DevOps processes as well as support in deployment and release processes
- Ensuring the linkage between requirements, test cases, results and defects
- Provision of suitable test environments, maintenance of configuration management of test equipment as well as compliance with quality management requirements
- Active involvement in the optimisation of test processes, test methodology and technical quality standards
What you bring with you
- Advanced vocational training in computer science or career changer with several years of experience in software testing
- Solid experience as a test engineer, especially in test automation, test scripting and structured testing
- Very good knowledge of test methodology and strategy, modern testing approaches as well as agile software development
- Good understanding of modern DevOps processes
- Knowledge of Jira, Xray and GitLab is an advantage
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness and enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary teams
- Fluent German; English and/or French skills (Level B2) are an advantage
- Experience in regulated industries is an advantage
- Military career as a senior non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage
