As our Digital Marketing and Events Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening MaxWell Biosystems' global brand and customer engagement. Based at our headquarters in Zurich, you will develop and execute digital marketing initiatives, and coordinate impactful digital and in-person events that connect our international community of researchers.
This position is ideal for a creative, proactive, and highly organized marketing professional with experience in digital marketing, marketing automation (HubSpot), email marketing (Mailchimp), content creation, and event management. You enjoy combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution, thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, and are motivated by bringing innovative technologies to the global scientific community.
Your Responsibilities- Execute MaxWell Biosystems' digital marketing strategy across multiple channels, ensuring alignment with the company's brand and commercial objectives.
- Plan, implement, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, digital advertising, and content marketing.
- Create and manage marketing automation activities and newsletter in Mailchimp/HubSpot, lead nurturing, campaign execution, and performance tracking.
- Support the creation and promotion of compelling marketing content, including videos, graphics, flyers, customer success stories, testimonials, and other digital assets.
- Collaborate with external agencies, designers, photographers, videographers, and other creative partners to deliver high-quality multimedia content.
- Plan, coordinate, and promote digital and in-person marketing events organized by MaxWell Biosystems, including webinars, user meetings, workshops, and customer engagement activities.
- Develop event communication plans and marketing materials to maximize attendance, engagement, and post-event follow-up.
- Partner closely with Product Marketing, Sales, and Commercial Excellence teams to develop and execute integrated marketing initiatives.
- Monitor and analyse campaign and event performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities to improve marketing processes, workflows, and the effective use of digital marketing tools.
- Act as an internal resource for digital marketing best practices, providing guidance and training to colleagues on marketing platforms and tools.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field. Alternatively, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Neuroscience, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline with formal coursework, training, or equivalent experience in Marketing and Communications.
- 3+ years of experience in B2B digital marketing, including the planning and promotion of scientific events (webinars, conferences, workshops, or customer engagement activities). Experience in the life sciences, biotechnology, healthcare, or technology sectors is preferred.
- Proven experience planning and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns and coordinating digital and in-person events, including webinars, conferences, and customer engagement activities.
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred), email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp), and social media management.
- Experience creating engaging marketing content across multiple formats, including email campaigns, presentations, videos, graphics, and digital assets. Proficiency with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in analysing campaign performance and using marketing metrics to optimize results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- A proactive, creative, and collaborative mindset, with strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and with external partners.
- A strong interest in neuroscience, life sciences, or scientific technologies.
