Zurich is one of the largest providers of unit-linked insurance solutions with ca. USD 160bn AUM and a leading responsible investor. Group Investment Management is looking for experienced responsible investment analyst who will
- Drive the development and implementation of responsible investment strategy for Zurich’s unit-linked businesses.
- Support product initiatives incl. Green Bond and Climate Focus funds.
- Review current and forthcoming guidelines and regulations coming from regulators, associations or EU in order to be systematically informed, aware and engaged about any potential regulatory changes that can impact Zurich’s business in unit-linked.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced analyst who combines analytical thoroughness with strategic thinking as well as passion for responsible investing.
What you will do
- Drive the evolution of the responsible investment strategy for unit-linked investments, working closely with Group and local stakeholders.
- Steer activities related to the Unit-Linked Responsible Investment Framework, ensuring it as an important pillar of unit-linked governance.
- Conduct sustainability and responsible investment analyses across the retail fund universe.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on responsible investing for funds and unit-linked products.
- Monitor sustainability and responsible investment market trends, guidelines, regulations, translating insights into practical actions that enhance Zurich’s competitive edge.
- Contribute to product and fund development activities, specifically in relation to Zurich in-house fund platforms (i.e. Climate Focus range, Green Bond fund and others).
- Collaborate with local business units to foster synergies and share best practices.
- Engage and animate the group of local experts supporting the implementation of such a strategy.
What you bring
- Master’s degree or equivalent; advanced qualifications (such as CFA or other sustainability-related certifications) are a plus.
- Passion for responsible investing, life insurance, and investment management.
- Solid experience as a sustainability or responsible investment analyst in a leading financial institution, with a focus on methodology and product development.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory environments (e.g. SFDR, IDD, EU taxonomy regulations etc.) and their application to insurance products and investment funds.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Pragmatism and a can-do attitude.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional European languages is an advantage.
