The Aebi Schmidt Group is looking for a Development Engineer 100 % for the Research & Development Aebi department at the CH-3401 Burgdorf location

Your tasks:

• Creating concepts and 3D designs for new and further developments according to the specifications in collaboration with the responsible project managers
• Independent management of sub-projects
• Contributing to the design and calculation of components and assemblies
• Considering costs, deadlines, and quality within the scope of assigned tasks
• Supervising prototype construction up to handover to series production

Your background:

• Basic training as a designer
• Further education as a mechanical or automotive engineer
• Experience in vehicle construction/mechanical engineering with a focus on design and hydraulics
• Proficient use of 3D CAD systems, preferably SolidEdge
• Experience in performing FEM calculations
• Good German and English skills; any additional language is an advantage
• Reliable and independent personality with a structured and goal-oriented working style
