About the job

Technical Staff Member Workshops and Living Lab (m/f/d | 100%)
Your Tasks
- Ensuring the smooth operation of our workshops and machinery
- Operation, maintenance and upkeep of machines, tools and technical equipment
- Carrying out minor maintenance and repair work as well as coordinating external service work
- Practical support for customer and internal projects, especially in manufacturing, prototyping and custom-made products
- Performing basic CAD work and preparing data for production
- Support in setting up, modifying and dismantling simulations, experimental setups, workshops and demonstrations in the Living Lab
- Setup, operation, configuration and handling of technical systems such as Real-Time Locating System (RTLS), projection surfaces, eye-tracking, motion capture and audio equipment
- Ensuring the readiness of technical devices and systems
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical faults during operation
- Organisation and management of tools, consumables, simulation materials and inventory
- Documentation of machines, technical setups and recurring processes
- Support and instruction of employees in the use of machines and technical systems
- Flexible technical and manual work across various areas and technologies
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training in a craft or technical field or a comparable qualification
- Practical experience in a technical, craft or workshop-related environment
- Good technical understanding and enjoyment of practical work
- Strong hands-on mentality as well as independent and solution-oriented working style
- Experience in handling machines, tools and technical equipment
- Basic knowledge of CAD and/or digital manufacturing is an advantage
- Basic IT and network knowledge is an advantage
- Willingness and interest to familiarise yourself with new technologies and systems
- Flexible, versatile personality with enthusiasm for diverse tasks
- Sense of responsibility, reliability and structured working method
- Very good German skills, French skills are an advantage, as well as confident use of Microsoft 365 and digital working tools are required.
