The Herzogenbuchsee school combines kindergarten and primary school in the centre of Oberaargau. Thanks to its location on the important traffic axis between Bern and Olten, it is easily accessible and cares for children from Herzogenbuchsee and Niederönz from kindergarten to 6th grade. Currently, around 760 pupils attend the five school and five kindergarten locations, where they are accompanied by a committed and versatile team of teachers. In addition to regular lessons, the school also organises speech therapy and psychomotor offers for the surrounding schools in the region.

Tasks
To support our two 1st/2nd classes at the Rosenweg location, we are looking for a reliable assistant.
Escort of the two classes on Tuesdays at 08:30 on foot from the Rosenweg school building to another school location. Support of one class during the lesson offer at another school location (sports, swimming or library visit alternately) and escort and support of the teachers as needed. Joint return to the Rosenweg school building around 11:00 with arrival at approx. 11:30.
Requirements
- Enjoyment in working with children of kindergarten and primary school age
- Reliable, responsible and patient personality
- Ability to attentively and safely accompany children on the way to school
- Friendly demeanour as well as good communication and teamwork skills
- Independent and flexible working style
- Pedagogical prior knowledge is an advantage but not mandatory
