The Zweckverband Abwasserreinigungsanlage Untermarch in Lachen SZ is looking for a committed and qualified individual as an Operations Electrician (m/f) 80 - 100% with the additional role of Sewage Plant Operator. Become part of our team and actively contribute to ensuring sustainable and efficient wastewater treatment.

Your Tasks

• Carrying out daily maintenance, servicing, repair and cleaning work at the sewage treatment plant and associated external facilities.
• Operation, inspection, maintenance, repair and renewal of all electrical system components according to our company standards, sketching and updating electrical schematics according to our company standards.
• Ensuring the safety of the electrical installations of the sewage treatment plant according to NIN 2015 and our company standards.
• Conducting laboratory tests.
• Monitoring and controlling the systems using process control systems.

Your Profile

• Successfully completed vocational training in an electrical engineering profession.
• Several years of professional experience in the trained profession.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs.
• Operations electrician permit or proof that the requirements of ESTI are met to obtain the operations electrician permit. These must be obtained by the applicant (mandatory for application). **
• Independent, reliable and precise working style.
• IT skills (software application).
• Open and communicative personality.
• Willingness to perform regular on-call and weekend duties.
• Residence in the region.
• Completed training as a VSA sewage plant operator or willingness to complete it.
• Driving licence category B required, forklift licence desirable.

** Requirement for in-house installation work are:

Passed apprenticeship as an electrical installer EFZ (today: electrical installer EFZ) or electrical draftsman EFZ and proof of three years’ practice under the supervision of a qualified person

or

passed apprenticeship in a "closely related profession" according to the "Examination Regulations for the Operations Electrician Examination of 15 August 2016" and proof of at least five years’ practice under the supervision of a qualified person

or

successfully passed examination for in-house installation work (Art. 13 NIV )

or

positive decision by ESTI on the equivalence of a foreign qualification
