As a Process Expert (m/f/d) in Production, you are responsible for the continuous improvement of production processes, ensuring up-to-date and GMP-compliant documentation, and learning, applying, and conveying production-relevant tools, methods, and processes. You are also significantly responsible for the training and qualification of employees within production.
A typical working day in this role includes:
- Analysing and sustainably resolving process deviations using root cause analyses and CAPAs
- Implementing changes in the change control system as well as continuous process improvement (CIP)
- Creating, maintaining, and updating production-relevant GMP documents (e.g. SOPs, WIs, AAs)
- Getting to know and practically applying products and processes within your area of responsibility
- Planning and conducting training sessions to qualify employees
- Interface function between production and MS&T during the introduction of new processes
- Independently planning and implementing assigned projects
- Collecting, analysing, and visualising relevant production and process key figures to identify optimisation potentials
WHAT YOU BRING TO ALCON:
- Completed vocational training in a technical profession
- Further training as a process specialist or process technician is an advantage
- Experience in a GMP-regulated environment (e.g. pharmaceuticals, chemicals or comparable)
- Knowledge in process analysis, root cause analyses, and CAPA implementation
- Ability to analyse and document technical processes in a structured manner
- Experience in training employees
- Independent, quality-conscious, and solution-oriented working style
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form; English is an advantage
- Good user knowledge of Microsoft Office, ERP experience is an advantage
