• Overall responsibility for leading the engineering department with around 50 employees in several specialized teams
• Responsibility for the implementation of network projects from planning to commissioning according to the assignment by Asset Management and external customers
• Responsibility for planning and realization of projects in the areas of cable and overhead lines, substations, as well as protection and control technology
• Ensuring uniform technical standards, construction methods, and system architectures across all network areas
• Ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and interfaces between Asset Management, Engineering, Network Operations, and regions
• Further development of the engineering organization in the context of digitalization, automation, and data-based processes
• Strategic and economic development of third-party business as well as integration into resource and capacity planning
• Budget and resource responsibility as well as ensuring efficient use of resources with high supply quality
• Active participation in the network business unit management

• University degree in electrical engineering or energy technology
• Project management training and experience, ideally with IPMA certification Level C or B
• Leadership experience in a technical organization of comparable size
• Know-how in planning, project design, or consulting services in a technical environment
• Several years of experience in engineering of electricity networks or energy systems
• Knowledge in protection and control technology
• Very good knowledge of the technical regulations and standards relevant in Switzerland (including SIA)
• Proven experience and enthusiasm for providing engineering services to third parties
• Clear, trustworthy, and inspiring leadership personality that promotes personal responsibility and pragmatically implements innovations
