Head of Quality and Environmental Management

Your new job with us?
As Head of Quality and Environmental Management (QM/EMS), you are responsible for ensuring and further developing our integrated management system.
You ensure compliance with the relevant standards and norms and actively support the management and site leadership in all quality and environmental matters.
Your tasks:
- Personnel management of the QM, QS and hazardous substances, disposal and environment departments (2 employees)
- Further development and strategic implementation of the quality management system according to EN ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001
- Ensuring product quality
- Leading and coordinating continuous improvement processes (CIP)
- Planning and conducting internal and external audits
- Root cause analysis and initiation of corrective and preventive measures
- Advising and training employees on all quality-related issues
- Complaint management and management of quality circles
- Reporting to management as well as supporting and further developing the integrated management system (IMS)
- Ensuring certifications. Planning and accompanying certification audits
Your profile:
- Ideally a degree in engineering in a technical discipline (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemistry, process engineering) or equivalent further training
- Further training in environmental management systems as well as knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations would be an advantage, but not a must.
- Several years of experience in quality management in an industrial company
- Knowledge of industrial manufacturing and production processes
- Experience with auditing and certification processes
- Confident handling of QM software and statistical programmes as well as common office applications
- Knowledge of quality management methods such as 8D
- Structured and systematic working style with entrepreneurial thinking
- Strong communication skills, empathy and didactic ability
