Freight Forwarding Clerk | Sea Freight LCL/FCL Administrator with a Flair for Communication

Initial Situation

Sea freight is your thing? Then you are in the right place.

Whether LCL or FCL, import or export – you know the processes and understand what it takes for smooth handling. At the same time, you enjoy direct interaction with your customers and see yourself not just as an order processor but as their dedicated contact person.

Tasks

• Handling LCL and FCL shipments in import and export
• Managing and advising your own customer portfolio
• Preparing quotations, calculations and obtaining freight rates
• Organising and coordinating freight space with shipping companies, agents and transport partners
• Monitoring shipments, schedules and deliveries
• Processing complaints and finding suitable solutions
• Maintaining and further developing existing customer relationships

Requirements

• Successfully completed commercial basic training, ideally in the freight forwarding industry
• Professional experience in sea freight import or export, LCL or FCL
• Enjoy working in a young team with plenty of direct customer contact

IT

MS Office - good knowledge

Languages

German: native language
English: good written and spoken
