This is what you can achieve.

• As a dispatcher, you schedule goods, wagons and trains as well as route locomotives and locomotive staff in day-to-day operations, ensuring stable and efficient railway operations.
• You ensure the flow of information in the transport operations area and inform contacts in production and customers as needed.
• In the event of an incident, you make independent decisions regarding resources and initiate the necessary measures.
• You ensure fast, proactive and high-quality customer information and keep all parties informed.
• As a dispatcher, you maintain direct contact with customers, train drivers, shift supervisors at various locations and other specialist departments.

• Organisational talent and a very careful working style, with which you keep an overview even in complex planning.
• Communication skills and negotiation ability to reconcile different interests and achieve viable solutions.
• High IT affinity as well as willingness for 3-shift operation 7x24h and the necessary flexibility.
• Experience in scheduling, personnel deployment, customer service or freight planning and enjoyment in questioning and improving existing processes.
• Very good German skills at least level C1 and French skills at level A2 as well as ideally Italian at level A1.
