Forchbahn AG is a locally rooted railway company providing services indispensable to the Pfannenstiel region. Every fifteen minutes, we safely transport people from the countryside to the city of Zurich and back – day after day, almost around the clock. Join our team and ensure that the Forchbahn trains are operational 365 days a year.

These are your tasks:

• Planning, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems
• Leading maintenance projects as well as collaborating on and supporting railway technology projects
• Assisting with the preparation of foundational documents, concepts, specifications, etc.
• Maintaining protective devices including staff training and monitoring
• On-call duty and fault management in case of failures and defects

This is what you bring:

• Completed technical training in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
• Ideally training as an electrical inspector with a federal professional certificate
• Several years of professional experience, ideally in public transport
• Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form, additional languages are an advantage.
• On-call and standby availability
• High personal responsibility, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, resilience and performance orientation.
