We are a specialised personnel service provider, recruiting tailored employees for our clients throughout north-western Switzerland since 2008. For our client, an established company with its own workshop for commercial vehicles, construction and specialised machinery, we are seeking immediately or by arrangement an experienced and down-to-earth personality as:
 

Workshop Manager Commercial Vehicles & Construction Machinery 100% (m/f/d)

• You take responsibility for the daily workshop operations and lead a small team
• Upcoming repairs, maintenance and service work are planned, prioritised and coordinated by you
• You ensure that staff, materials and spare parts are available at the right time
• In demanding repairs or bottlenecks, you pitch in yourself and support your team with your technical know-how
• You oversee work on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components
• Workshop orders are recorded, checked and administratively managed by you until invoicing
• You calculate and prepare quotations and ensure clean invoicing
• Spare parts as well as consumables and operating materials are organised and procured by you
• You keep an eye on quality, deadlines and efficient processes and further develop the workshop operations together with the team

• Training as a construction machinery mechanic, agricultural machinery mechanic, truck mechanic or comparable technical background
• Several years of practical experience with commercial vehicles, construction machinery or similar machines
• Leadership experience is welcome. You are also interesting if, as an experienced specialist, you now want to take the step to workshop manager
• Good knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics as well as technical understanding of electrical systems
• You can organise, set priorities and make decisions even in hectic situations
• Hands-on mentality: workshop clothing is not a foreign word for you even as a manager
• Confident handling of PC and digital operating systems
• Independent, reliable and solution-oriented working style
• Very good German language skills, spoken and written
