Deployed across several sites, the Lavigny Institution consists of a neurological hospital with outpatient consultations on two sites, a residential department for adults with disabilities, intellectual impairments or physical issues, a specialised school, and a sector for workshops and professional training.
The Plein Soleil Department of the Lavigny Institution, located in Lausanne, is dedicated to people with progressive neurological diseases or brain injuries, and includes a 68-bed nursing home, a 10-place CAT, 12 protected apartments and an outpatient therapy centre.
It is a unique living and care environment in the Canton of Vaud, offering personalised support, with care services and therapies, educational and socio-cultural activities, personal development and wellbeing workshops, spiritual support and a service dedicated to the relatives of the residents.
For the care sector of the Plein Soleil department at the Lausanne site, we are looking for:
Nursing Assistants in the Field of Neurology on a Permanent Contract
Job Description:
Participate in hygiene, comfort and rehabilitation care in collaboration with the socio-health team
Ensure, according to hospital hygiene directives and the residence work plan, the order, cleanliness, disinfection and maintenance of equipment and furniture
Contribute to ensuring a warm environment conducive to the wellbeing of residents
We require:
Training as a nursing assistant with CRS recognition, nursing assistant diploma and ASA-AFP accompaniment or recommended CRS health auxiliary certificate and/or equivalent training
Good adaptability and excellent communication skills
- Skills to work interdisciplinarily
- Strong interest in neurology
- Good listening skills and ease in interpersonal relations
- Energy and a sense of responsibility

Continuous day shifts of 12 hours
Rate: 80% with possibility to supplement with pool shifts
