As the company expands its international footprint, particularly into the Japanese market, Goat Finance is seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded individual to support financial structuring, operational development, and cross-border market execution.

Role Overview

This role sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and compliance, supporting the company’s growth across multiple jurisdictions and service lines.

The successful candidate will work directly with senior leadership to:

• Build and refine financial and operational frameworks
• Contribute to strategic expansion initiatives, particularly in Japan and the US
• Support trading and client-facing activities
• Act as management representative for GOAT Finance SAGL

Given the company’s stage and pace of growth, the role requires an individual who can operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, translating complex operational and market dynamics into structured financial and strategic outputs.

Key Responsibilities

Financial & Analytical

• Develop and maintain financial models to support trading activities, revenue streams, and strategic decision-making
• Support cashflow planning, cost control, and performance tracking across business lines
• Analyse market trends in digital assets to inform pricing, execution strategies, and risk considerations

Operational Integration

• Assist in structuring internal processes across trading, client onboarding, and transaction workflows
• Translate operational activity into financial reporting and performance metrics
• Work closely with technical and trading teams to align execution with financial objectives

Market Expansion & Strategy

• Support expansion into new markets, with a particular focus on Japan
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis across jurisdictions
• Assist in building relationships with international partners and clients

Client & Commercial Support

• Contribute to the preparation of client materials, proposals, and strategic communications
• Support high-value client interactions through analytical preparation and insight generation
• Assist in refining service offerings based on client needs and market positioning

Requirements

Core Qualifications

• Strong academic background in economics, finance, or a quantitative discipline
• Demonstrated ability in financial modelling, data analysis, and structured problem-solving
• Ability to operate across both analytical and operational contexts
• Fluency in Japanese and English languages
• Work experience in Japan and in the US
• High level of adaptability in early-stage or rapidly evolving environments

Cross-Functional Capability

• Experience working across multiple business functions (e.g. finance, operations, strategy)
• Ability to translate complex or technical processes into financial and strategic frameworks in Japanese and English
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders

International & Market Exposure

• Experience working in international environments or cross-border contexts
• Familiarity with digital assets, financial markets, or trading environments
• Interest in emerging financial technologies and evolving market structures
