Trading Business Risk Manager 80-100% (m/f/d)

Position overview: We are looking for a (Junior) Business Risk Manager with a practical approach and a passion for operational risk management. As an important member of our Trading Business Process Management team, you will analyse processes, handle regulatory issues and process ad-hoc requests. You will work closely with the trading, operations, compliance, legal and other departments within LGT.

Areas of responsibility:

• Conducting comprehensive analyses of trading processes with a focus on operational, regulatory and compliance risks.

• Developing and proposing solutions for identified control gaps.

• Initiating and supporting process and IT adjustments with relevant stakeholders.

• Maintaining and improving the framework for compliance with trading regulations.

• Close cooperation with stakeholders from trading, legal, compliance and other internal and external parties.

• Ensuring clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities in the Trading & Treasury area by maintaining trading-related policies.

• Conducting ad-hoc assessments of trading-related risks and compliance issues.

• Participation in project work to drive improvements.

• Good knowledge of financial markets and financial products.

• Experience as a trader or in a middle-/back-office function at a bank is an advantage.

• Good knowledge of the regulatory environment for banks, with a focus on trading, private banking and/or asset management.

• Proactive attitude that sees things through to completion.

• Interest and knowledge in the IT field.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Fluent in German and English.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex matters for any audience.
