Physiotherapist in a Nursing Home with Flexible Assignments (m/f/d) 40-50%

You know exactly what physiotherapy is really about — not ten minutes on the machine and a sheet of exercises to take away. It’s about Mr B. safely walking to the dining hall again after his fall. About Mrs K. regaining her strength for everyday life in the living room. About someone who no longer thought it possible managing it after all — because you know where to start. That’s exactly what we are here for.

• 08:00 You start with your company car to the nursing home. First client after a fall, gait training and balance. You already know her, know what’s planned for this week.
• 08:30 Gait instead of therapy room. From the room to the dining hall, a handrail, a threshold at the lift. This is where what really matters in everyday life becomes visible. You observe, correct, instruct the care staff for the exercises between your visits.
• 10:00 Brief consultation with the nurse on the ward — shared client, discussion about mobilisation after the fall. Walker or walker with assistance? Decision made together today.
• 10:30 Second focus. Mobilisation after knee replacement. You look at the path from the bed to the bathroom, the door thresholds, the process of standing up — and immediately know how the rehabilitation will look over the next three weeks. You write the report to the health insurance later via app.
• 12:15 Lunch break — you choose where. No canteen table, no briefing in the meeting room.
• If you also work in the afternoon: 13:15 to 16:30 Further assignments: fall prevention, respiratory therapy, strength building — all in the real everyday life of the residents. You finish at 17:00.

• Physiotherapy for residents in nursing homes in the Lenzburg region
• Geriatric and orthopaedic rehabilitation — after hip replacement, knee replacement, fall or hospital discharge
• Gait training, balance training and fall prevention in the real living environment of the nursing home
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with nurses, SRK care assistants and occupational therapy for the same client
• Reports for disability insurance, health insurance and referring doctors — digital, on the go

• Diploma as a physiotherapist FH or equivalent — recognised in Switzerland
• Driving licence category B — you drive between institutions in the Wohlen region. Company car including private use provided from day 1.
• Experience with adults — geriatrics, orthopaedics, ideally in a nursing home environment
• Independent working — you decide on site, without a supervisor in the room. The team is reachable by phone but not present.
• Enjoyment in working with older people and in an interdisciplinary team
