Accountant Finance (m/f/d)

Role:
As a financial accountant at our ROCKEN partner, you independently manage the ongoing accounting and ensure reliable processing of payment transactions. You oversee the general ledger as well as the subsidiary ledgers and are responsible for VAT returns and liquidity management. You collaborate with the team on financial statements, budgeting, and evaluations. Furthermore, you develop financial processes and support commercial apprentices in accounting.
Responsibilities:
You independently manage the general ledger according to Swiss GAAP FER and OR, as well as accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset accounting.
You monitor incoming payments and handle dunning and debt collection. You record creditor invoices and prepare payment runs on time.
You prepare VAT returns and manage liquidity.
You contribute to quarterly and annual financial statements, budgeting, and financial analyses together with the team.
You independently manage the accounting of joint ventures.
You participate in group-wide projects and further develop existing workflows.
You supervise commercial apprentices in accounting and support them in building their expertise.
Qualifications:
Several years of experience in finance and accounting as well as good knowledge of financial accounting, financial statement preparation, and VAT form the professional basis.
You work very confidently with MS Office, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint and have experience with ERP systems or accounting software.
You complete your tasks independently, in a structured and precise manner, and gladly take on responsibility.
You value teamwork and attentively address the concerns of your contacts.
A professional certificate or other training or further education in finance is an advantage.
Practical experience with Abacus and knowledge of the construction industry ideally complement your profile.
