Qualified pharmacist for the Pharmaceutical Logistics Unit
The Pharmacy Service of the CHUV is looking for a qualified pharmacist for its pharmaceutical logistics unit at an 80% activity rate, within the framework of a fixed-term contract of two years. The starting date is scheduled for 1 September 2026 or to be agreed.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and the EPFL, it plays a leading role in the fields of medical care, medical research and education.
The Pharmacy Service has the following missions:
- manufacturing and supplying pharmaceutical products
- promoting the rational use of medicines
- teaching and research in hospital pharmacy
The pharmaceutical logistics unit actively contributes to the safety of the medication circuit, the optimisation of processes and the quality of services delivered to patients.
Mission
- You supervise orders and stock management of medicines
- You participate in the quality management of the distributed medicine
- You organise and coordinate the activities of the unit's staff in the absence of the manager
- You carry out internal and external training tasks
- You ensure the proper configuration of the unit's IT tools
- You participate in the management of the quality assurance application platform.
Profile
- You hold a federal diploma as a pharmacist or an equivalent recognised qualification
- You have experience in the field of medicines in hospital, outpatient or industrial settings
- You show an interest in pharmaceutical logistics and care units
- You possess knowledge of handling cytotoxic medicines, the cold chain and narcotics
- You demonstrate a strong affinity for teamwork
- You have very good IT skills.
