In the Department of Structural Engineering + Planning, we are looking to strengthen our team immediately or by arrangement for the position of Head of Department Building Permits (m/f/d).

Your tasks
- Leading a small team of 3 employees and training 1 apprentice
- Advising builders, project authors or authority members on building and planning law matters
- Administrative processing of building applications and preliminary decision applications
- Monitoring conditions and preparing follow-up decisions
- Taking over enforcement tasks in the building permit procedure
- Assisting and supporting planning processes
- Leading and preparing meetings of the commissions for planning and building permits as well as for local image and architecture
Your profile
- Completed commercial basic training or comparable education, preferably in a municipal administration
- CAS public planning and construction or equivalent training or willingness to obtain it
- Ideally experience in Zurich planning and building law as well as in building permit procedures
- Open-minded and service-oriented personality
- Independent, punctual and structured way of working
- Fluent and audience-appropriate formulation in German (spoken and written)
